Our Mission
The Edmonds-Woodway High School Athletic Booster Club is dedicated to supporting and enhancing the athletic programs at our school by fostering community, raising funds, and promoting sportsmanship to ensure every student-athlete thrives.

Our focus on academic success includes offering study tables, library time, academic support, freshman mentorship, and recognition for students with both high and improving GPAs. We are committed to athletic excellence by ensuring coaches and athletic staff have the financial resources and support needed for successful programs. Additionally, we prioritize accessibility for athletes by reducing participation fees, providing ASB cards, funding equipment, and supporting parental involvement.
How We Achieve Our Mission
1
Raise Money for
EWHS Teams
As school district funding for athletics continues to shrink each year, we’re stepping up to support broader fundraising efforts while also equipping parents with the tools and resources to run successful fundraisers for individual teams.
2
Build Community
Our goal is to create a unified and engaged community of parents who are passionate about supporting student-athletes. By fostering strong connections, we can work together to share resources, collaborate on fundraising, and create a positive environment that benefits all of our athletic teams.
3
Ensure Sustainability
We look to foster a culture of collaboration with seamless leadership transitions, ensuring the continuity and growth of the booster club. We've implemented a hub-and-spoke model to encourage broad involvement and support, empowering all members to contribute effectively.
4
Communicate Effectively
Identify the most effective communication channels for parents. Promote best practices in communication and calendar management across the school, athletic department, coaches, and the Booster Club to ensure seamless coordination and engagement.
5
Inspire Sportsmanship
Foster a spirit of unity where athletes support fellow athletes, coaches, teachers, staff, the band, and the Boosters. Encourage attendance at games and events across all sports, creating a strong, interconnected community that uplifts every part of the school.
6
Financial Due Diligence
Align the budget with short, medium, and long-term goals to ensure strategic planning and sustained growth. Review the budgets from the past two years and project the next two years, clearly outlining the annual costs for administration, promotion, and communication related to ABC.
